Neighbors Helping Neighbors

We are a non-profit organization focused on helping people in our community and surrounding communities.

We understand that there are times in everybody's lives when they can use a helping hand. A small gesture from one neighbor could be the encouragement someone needs to keep pushing forward. This small gesture could make a huge impact on someone's mental and physical well being. You could make a huge difference in someone's life!

How do we go about trying to help?

First, we have a Facebook group where members can post either requests for help, or items to offer to others. All items offered are free. This Facebook group can be accessed through any of the Facebook links on this website.

Second, we have a small storage where we keep some basic supplies, a caring food pantry for emergency situations.

Third, we raise money throughout the year through donations, yard sales, a silent auction, a bingo night, and other events. These funds that are raised go directly to help those in need in our community. 100% of our administration is voluneer based which means all funds go to those in need.

Sometimes this means covering a hotel room for someone that's homeless. Sometimes it means providing some emergency food for a family that can't afford any. Sometimes it means we can purchase an item desperately needed by a single mother. If you wish to donate to this cause, you can do so very easily through any of the donate links on this website, or you can contact us from our contact page.

Fourth, we help guide people in need to other resources through government or private organizations that are there to help. This could mean just pointing them in the right direction, or it could mean helping them fill out the paperwork, or forms they need to fill out. You can find some of these resources listed on our "Resources" page.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, and are excited
to get involved in any way you can!
